Comprehensive Assessments

Comprehensive assessments encompass a combination of psychological assessments for various purposes. They may determine whether a person is experiencing a mental health condition and the appropriate treatment plan. A variety of psychological tests and an initial interview to obtain relevant information may be included.

Our team of multidisciplinary therapists can administer your ADOS assessments, providing a recommendation report for you to give your psychiatrist in order to make a formal diagnosis.

Wechsler Individual Achievement Test (WIAT-III)

An assessment tool designed to measure and assess academic achievement in people from 4 years old, through to adulthood. The test is widely used to evaluate an individual’s performance in various academic domains.

Assessment of attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder, conduct disorder, oppositional defiant disorder

Aids in diagnosing and classifying intellectual and developmental disabilities and other disorders such as autism, Asperger Syndrome, and developmental delays.

What to expect on your first visit?

On your first appointment with one of our Psychologists, you or your clients will ask you about any concerns you would like to work on as your goals. You will then go through your history and why you have come to see a Psychologist. This session lasts for 60 mins in clinic, 45 minutes face to face and 15 minutes documentation and helps to provide a clear picture of what areas your need assistance with.

Following your assessment and diagnosis, our Psychologists will prepare a report if required, and a comprehensive therapy programme will be tailored for your needs and goals.

After an assessment

After an assessment is completed, a report including the assessment findings and their impacts on yourself or a loved one will be complied.

Our therapists will also include recommendations for required therapeutic interventions.

Our therapists will discuss the findings of the report with you, and collaborate on your therapy goals.

Ongoing therapy sessions

The number of sessions will depend on the assessment recommendations and your tailored programme.

Following your initial appointment, ongoing appointments for weekly or fortnightly sessions of 60 minutes may be recommended. This includes 45 minutes of face-to-face time and 15 minutes of documentation.

Therapy may be in your own home or in our centre practicing activities and functional tasks or practicing what you have learnt out in the community.
